Lisa Stylos (a.k.a. Mrs. Lou Stylos) specializes in dental hygiene at the Office of Dr. Louis Stylos. Lisa, who is originally from Dracut, MA, made the decision to get into the dental field when she got her braces on in her senior year of high school. She decided that it was the profession for her after experiencing the life changing benefits that dentistry can offer first hand!
Lisa has been a dental hygienist since 1987, enjoys meeting patients and helping them with their dental needs. From cleanings to major dental procedures, Lisa’s knowledge and expertise provide each patient with a positive experience. She understands each person has different needs and she takes the time to understand what.
Lisa and Dr. Lou have been married since 1996 and have a son Peter who was born in 1999 and is at UNH class of ’22 studying Communications. During Lisa’s time off, she enjoys spending time with the family, traveling (Florida, Caribbean, California and Las Vegas are among her favorite destinations), shopping and watching movies. Licensed Dental Assistant
The Smiles by Stylos team was very excited to welcome back Lisa Leavitt in the fall of October 2016. Lisa had previously been with the office for five years. During that time, Dr. Stylos was attending the L.D. Pankey Institute for Dental Excellent. Lisa was such a vital part of the team that Dr. Stylos enrolled her in the Dental Assistant program and many other high level dental educational courses which elevated her to the highest level of her profession. Her knowledge has only grown in 22 years as a dental assistant as she continues her journey in dentistry.
Lisa has a keen eye for dental aesthetics and beauty which helps Dr. Stylos give our patients the very best outcome. Lisa’s talents are an essential reason the we can deliver outcomes that are comfortable, natural and fantastic looking!
On a personal note, she was born and has spent most of her life in Haverhill, Massachusetts. She is a graduate of Haverhill High School. She loves being a dental assistant but has also worked for years in the restaurant industry. This is in keeping with her love for being around and working with people. Her engaging personality combined with her sparkling eyes and warm smile, let our patients know they will be well cared for at our office.
Lisa has many interests. She loves going to the beach and exploring new places either by walking or riding her bike. If it’s outside you’re likely to find Lisa there.
Her other passion is for animals. If it has four legs it’s a friend of Lisa’s! She is especially fond of her dog Lucas, who is right by her side every chance he can. That is some lucky dog!!
Lisa’s key to success is always having a positive attitude, always smile, and keeping her head up no matter what life brings her.
